4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 With Other Users

When you book a session, your name, email, and session details are shared with the expert. Experts' profiles (name, skills, rates, reviews) are visible to all users.

4.2 With Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform:

  • Clerk: Authentication and user management
  • Daily.co: Video call infrastructure
  • Stripe: Payment processing (we do not store credit card details)
  • Resend: Email delivery
  • Cloud Storage: Data storage and hosting

4.3 For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your information if required by law or if we believe such action is necessary to:

  • Comply with legal obligations or court orders
  • Protect and defend our rights or property
  • Prevent or investigate fraud or security issues

7. Session Recordings

7.1 Opt-In Service: Session recording is optional and costs $9 per session. You must explicitly opt-in when booking.

7.2 Storage and Access: Recordings are stored securely and are accessible only to the client who purchased the recording. Recordings are automatically deleted after 90 days.

7.3 Consent: Both parties are notified when a session is being recorded. By participating in a recorded session, you consent to the recording.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries.

10. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Account information is retained until you delete your account. Session recordings are deleted after 90 days. Financial records are retained for 7 years for compliance purposes.
